Etihad Guest agrees partnership with Priority Pass

9 Apr 2013 by ScottCarey7

Members of the Etihad Guest loyalty programme can now earn miles when purchasing a membership with airport lounge access provider Priority Pass.

Standard membership costs £69 and will earn members 1,250 miles. Standard members must pay £15 per lounge visit on top of the annual fee and can sign in a guest for the same price.

Standard Plus membership costs £159 and earns 2,500 miles. This allows for ten lounge visits per annum, after which £15 is charged per visit.

Finally, Prestige membership costs £259 and earns 4,000 miles. This allows for unlimited lounge access for the year across the Priority Pass portfolio of over 600 airport lounges. All members can sign in guests, but a £15 supplement is applicable.

There is also an introductory offer of 500 bonus miles when purchasing any of the three plans before April 30.

This offer is not available to existing Priority Pass members.

Errol McGlothan, general manager Priority Pass, said: “We are delighted to be working with the UAE’s national airline to provide Etihad Guest members with airport VIP lounge access worldwide. Members will now have access to lounges on the majority of the airline’s routes.”

This news follows the opening of a new Etihad lounge at Washington-Dulles over the weekend, as the carrier looks to enhance its premium lounge offering (see online news April 8).
