New World Makati Hotel's top four floors have been rebranded the Residence Club – one of several highlights of a just-completed, multi-million-dollar makeover.
This first phase of the three-part renovation unveils a total refresh of, not only the 595-room property's executive product, but also the lobby, driveway, ballroom and the function area, which is now dubbed the Events Gallery. Singaporean-based firm White Jacket went for clean lines with Oriental influences.
Guests of Residence Club rooms enjoy the usual added value perks of the executive tier such as complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails, all-day refreshments, concierge service, a reading area, free wifi and a meeting room. To introduce the new concept to customers staying in other room categories, the Residence Club Discovery promotion is valid until August 31, and allows those in a deluxe room to patronise the Residence Club. Those booking premier rooms are guaranteed an upgrade to Residence Club Deluxe rooms.
The Events Gallery consists of two function spaces: Gallery 1 on the lobby level which takes up to 30 persons and the Glasshouse on the second level for up to 100.
The second and final phase of the renovation will see enhancements on the rest of the guestrooms and the fourth-floor boardrooms.
The hotel's previously long-winded name, New World Makati City, Manila Hotel has been shortened to the more manageable New World Makati Hotel. For more on other New World properties undergoing renovation, click here.
