Jet 2 has announced two new routes from East Midlands airport to Prague and Budapest.
Both services will run twice-weekly, with the Prague route launching on November 7, followed by Budapest the following day.
Flights to Prague will operate on Thursday and Sunday, with services to the Hungarian capital operating on Monday and Friday.
Jet 2 already serves Prague from Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle, and Budapest from Edinburgh and Manchester.
There are currently no direct, non-stop flights from East Midlands to either Budapest or Prague.
Last year Jet 2 expanded its operations at East Midlands, with new routes to Chambery, Dubrovnik, Geneva, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, Larnaca, Menorca and Nice, following the closure of regional airline Bmibaby (see online news May 8, 2012).
