Sofitel So Bangkok, Asia’s first Sofitel So branded property, has unveiled a VIP Suite almost a year after the hotel was launched (see story here).
This two-storey suite, located on the 27th floor and measuring 233 sqm, follows a water theme and consists of an ensuite master bedroom, guest bedroom, living room, dining room for up to 10 guests and a Jacuzzi. Designed by Thai designer Pongthep Sagulkul and the renowned fashion designer Christian Lacroix, the unit features floor-to-ceiling windows, contemporary furnishings and a subtle white, grey and black colour palate that create a real sense of space and comfort.
Since its launch, the technology offerings at the Sofitel So have always been a highlight and this VIP Suite is no exception; the room consists of the Apple Mac Mini – which is available in all other rooms as well – electric frosted glass technology at the Jacuzzi and a 55-inch LCD TV. Additionally, guests are entitled to a complimentary in-room bar and access to the Club Signature lounge.
To mark the launch, the hotel is offering a "So VIP Package” until the end of May. For THB30,000, the guest can get one night’s stay in this suite with breakfast, a spa treatment for two, and a dining experience prepared by Iron Chef Award winner Paul Smart.
