Sir Richard Branson looks like a Wally

6 Mar 2013 by BusinessTraveller

It’s a fact: Sir Richard Branson really does look like a Wally.

Virgin Atlantic’s president has donned a red and white striped hat and jumper, and black rimmed glasses to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Where’s Wally? character.

Virgin has also painted Wally’s recognisable face (the character, not Sir Richard Branson) onto the side of one of its B747 aircraft, which will operate on routes between the UK, US and the Caribbean over the next year.

The first flight featuring the painting took off from Gatwick at 0945 on Tuesday March 5, headed for St Lucia, with passengers receiving Where’s Wally? goodies including masks, books and postcards. Virgin has also launched a Where’s Wally? facebook app.
