Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park London is to unveil new fitness and wellbeing facilities this summer.
The luxury hotel will offer a new 17-metre, stainless steel indoor swimming pool, featuring “beautifully bespoke loungers”, “internet stations”, “an intricately crafted mosaic wall and a waterfall feature”, and even “a discreet, modern fireplace”.
The new fitness centre will feature Technogym equipment and “Corian screens used to create privacy”, while the male and female changing areas will offer sauna and steam room facilities, as well as experience showers and a relaxation area.
The new space has been created by designer Adam D Tihany, who designed the hotel’s two restaurants – Dinner by Heston Blumenthal (click here for more information) and Bar Boulud (for a review published in 2010 click here).
