Sky Priority security lane opens at Tokyo Narita

7 Feb 2013 by ScottCarey7

The Skyteam airline alliance has extended its Sky Priority service by introducing a fast-track security lane at Tokyo’s Narita International airport.

The dedicated security lane is available to Elite Plus, first and business class customers flying from Terminal 1-North, and is located behind a Sky Priority-branded wall.

Sky Priority was launched at Narita in March last year and provides eligible customers with fast-track security, dedicated check-in desks, priority boarding and baggage collection, and priority at transfer and ticket desks.

Skyteam hopes to roll out the Sky Priority programme across all of its worldwide destinations by the end of 2013.

Gordon Humpherys, Skyteam’s vice president airport services said, “Our new Sky Priority security entrance is the first of its kind in Skyteam’s global network and we’re delighted to offer our top customers at Narita a quicker and easier journey through the airport.”

Current Skyteam members flying from Narita’s Terminal 1-North are: Aeroflot, Aeroméxico, Air France, Alitalia, China Southern, Delta Air Lines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Korean Air and Vietnam Airlines.
