Turkish Airlines is to increase its Manchester-Istanbul service from ten times-weekly to double daily.
The carrier moved from a daily to ten times-weekly service on the route last summer (see online news January 20, 2012), and will add a further four frequencies from March 31.
The flights will be operated by two-class B737-800 and -900 aircraft.
Manchester-bound services will depart Istanbul at 0800 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 1250 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, arriving at 1015 and 1505 respectively.
The return leg will leave Manchester at 1115 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 1555 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, arriving back into Istanbul at 1720 and 2205 respectively.
