The Sofitel Saigon Plaza in Ho Chi Minh City is set to unveil its newly renovated rooms and suites on January 30, 2013.
French interior designer, Pierre Maciag, has redesigned the rooms and suites, fusing both contemporary French and traditional Vietnamese elements. Rooms now flaunt floor-to-ceiling windows, quirky décor, such as traditional birdcages, and a range of different colours that vary depending on the room type. For example, Luxury Club rooms consist of a vibrant orange palette, while the Prestige suites use shades of grey and green jade.
Other features include a pillow menu, 40-inch flat screen television and, as with all Accor properties (see story here), free wifi internet access in all rooms.
The hotel itself features a rooftop swimming pool, gym, business centre and four food and beverage outlets, including the poolside bar.
