The Prince Hotel, Harbour City of Marco Polo Hotels has completed a 14-month refurbishment programme, part of a larger enhancement effort by the company, which also enhanced its sister hotels Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel (see news) and Gateway.
Earlier, the chain announced that it was offering free wifi access (see news).
All the 393 guestrooms in this landmark on Canton Road – one of the city’s most popular shopping magnets – have been refreshed with new carpets, curtains, upholstery, wallpaper and art pieces as well as the latest technology. This included the accommodation for premium customers on the Continental Club floors and lounge which features butler service, complimentary breakfast, high tea and cocktails in the evening, personalised check in and check out and full business support.
A gym has been added to the in-house facilities, as well as the new all-day dining outlet, add@Prince, which aims to serve value priced selections and provide a conducive environment for guests to entertain guests, meet clients and even catch up on work if they have to.
