Snow shuts Norwich airport

Heavy snowfall in the Norwich area has closed the city’s airport, leading to disruption for travellers on KLM flights to Amsterdam.

A post on the airport’s website (updated at 1305) advises:

“Due to heavy snowfall Norwich airport is currently closed until further notice.

“Any passengers who are due to travel out of Norwich airport today are advised to contact their airline.

“Passengers travelling on KL1512 to Amsterdam with European connections will not be able to travel today. Passengers are advised to contact their airline or travel agent. KLM reservation number 0871 231 000.”
