Korean Air and KLM, both members of the SkyTeam alliance, have announced a codeshare agreement for the Seoul-Amsterdam route, which will be implemented from January 16 onwards.
The codeshare will see Korean Air’s code on KLM’s four-weekly flights on this route, operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays using a 415-seat Boeing 747-400.
These flights depart Amsterdam at 1745, arriving in Seoul Incheon International Airport at 1205 the following day. Return legs depart at 1455, arriving back in Amsterdam at 1835.
With these four codeshare flights added to Korean Air’s own thrice-weekly service on this route operated by a 218-seat Airbus 330-200, frequency of the airline's service to The Netherlands' largest city will be boosted to seven times weekly and capacity will also be increased significantly.
