Japan Airlines will revise downwards its fuel surcharges for international tickets issued between February 1 and March 31, 2013, thanks to jet fuel prices that are now comparatively lower than the prices from July to September this year.
The new level of surcharges, though still subject to government approval, will be applied as follows:

The current surcharges are based on jet fuel pricing that hit US$130.89 per barrel on average. Between October and November this year, jet fuel prices averaged US$127.65 per barrel, thus resulting in the adjustments of surcharges.
