14 Dec 2012 by BusinessTraveller

Los Angeles International airport has unveiled plans for over 60 new dining and retail outlets which will open within the revamped Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT).

The airport is partnering with Australian shopping centre group Westfield as part of the US$1.5 billion Bradley West project, which is transforming the airport’s Tom Bradley International Terminal in several phases.

Among the brands which will open at TBIT include Bulgari, Emporio Armani, Porsche Design, Victoria’s Secret, Hugo Boss and Bliss, as well as food and beverage options including Umami Burger, LAMill Coffee, 800 Degrees Pizzeria, Vanilla Bake Shop and Starbucks Evenings.

Duty free shopping specialist DFS will also open a 25,000 square feet shopping area, featuring brands including Hermes, Gucci, Burberry, Omega, MontBlanc, Bobby Brown, Johnnie Walker and Grey Goose.

The first phase of the TBIT revamp will see a new Great Hall and boarding gates on the west side of the terminal scheduled to open next spring, followed by further new gates on the east side of the terminal, a new federal security screening area, and upgraded customs and arrivals areas opening by 2014.
