IHG’s Hotel Indigo brand has opened its third property in London, with the unveiling of the Hotel Indigo London Kensington – Earl’s Court.
The hotel is housed within a former Victorian manor house, which most recently served as the Barkston Gardens Hotel, with many of the 100 rooms overlooking gardens.
Features include a restaurant, fitness centre, and artwork which “captures the building’s original staircases and stained glass windows”.
The hotel is located on Barkston Gardens, close to Earl’s Court tube station.
The brand has also opened a new hotel in the Garden District of New Orleans, offering 132 rooms and featuring “an elegant mix of modish and classic French-style furniture”.
The two new hotels bring Hotel Indigo’s portfolio to 50 properties worldwide, with 14 hotels having opened this year. New properties are also planned for Hong Kong, Tel Aviv, St Petersburg, Bangkok, Riyadh, Madrid, Jakarta, Lisbon, Barcelona, Philadelphia, Chicago and New York.
