Delta will add a third daily service to its Heathrow-Atlanta route from March 31, and passengers will also be able to access wifi internet on the route from early 2013.
The US carrier moved its daily Gatwick-Atlanta service to Heathrow earlier this year (see online news February 23), and currently operates a twice-daily service between the two airports.
From March 31, 2013 it will add a third frequency, with departures from London at 0945, 1250 and 1425, and from Atlanta at 1755, 2135 and 2245.
In June Delta announced plans to install wifi capabilities on long-haul services from early next year (see online news June 28), and now says it will become the first carrier to offer wifi on non-stop flights between the UK and the United States.
