Ascott’s Somerset Grand Hanoi serviced apartment property has been unveiled after undergoing a complete refurbishment.
The 185 apartments have been given an updated, more modern décor and contemporary furnishings. They have been equipped with new amenities such as multi-split air conditioning, together with a home entertainment system including a large LCD television and mini hi-fi.

New fittings have also been installed in the kitchens, which are now equipped with a microwave, an oven, refrigerator, toaster, cooker hob and hood as well as a washer and dryer.
Alongside improvements to the accommodation, the renovation work has given the property’s reception area and lobby a new look, with a design that incorporates touches of Vietnamese culture with silk lanterns and paintings.
The Somerset Grand Hanoi is located just east of Hanoi Railway Station, in the city’s main business district and close to many international offices. It has apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms suited to longer stays.
The property also contains a gym, outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and tennis court. There is also a shopping arcade on the ground floor.
Ascott is expanding its presence in Vietnam. It is planning to open a 100-unit Somerset-brand serviced residences property in Ho Chi Mihn City this month. Then next year, it will open a Somerset-brand property in Hai Phong, followed by one in Danang Bay in 2014.
