Pullman debuts in Vietnam

4 Dec 2012

Accor today opened the Pullman Hanoi, marking the debut of the group’s upscale international brand in Vietnam.

“We are very proud to introduce the Pullman brand to Vietnam [and complete] Accor’s brand portfolio in the country,” said Patrick Basset, Senior Vice President of Accor Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and the Philippines. “With the opening of the hotel, we now offer a hotel brand for every market segment.”

The property was previously the Hanoi Horison Hotel, managed by Accor, but has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment to transform it into a Pullman hotel.

Its 242 rooms have been given stylish contemporary décor with bold patterned carpets, lamps, and glossy white desks and chairs. They have LCD televisions, complimentary soft drinks from the minibar, a work desk and free wifi internet access.

The executive rooms and suites also have in-room espresso machines as well as offering access to the hotels executive lounge which serves breakfast, drinks, and snacks.

The hotel has a business centre with support staff and offers copy and print, translation, secretarial (typing), and mobile phone hire services.

Later this month, the hotel will also open a refurbished fitness centre, the Pullman Fit Lounge, which will be open 24 hours a day, and new spa facilities.

Meanwhile for eating and drinking, Vinoteca by Pullman provides a wide selection of wines by the glass or bottle, and La Cheminée restaurant offers both local and international food.

The Pullman Hanoi is located close to the city’s main business districts and a 40-minute drive from the Noi Bai International Airport.

Accor is also planning to open Pullman-brand hotels in Ho Chi Mihn City and Vung Tau (see here), but a spokesperson for the group said these have been delayed until the latter part of 2013. Next year a Pullman is also scheduled to open in Da Nang.
