Rail operator Greater Anglia is working with wifi network provider The Cloud to introduce free internet access as 100 stations including Cambridge, Norwich and Stansted airport.
The wifi hotspots will be rolled out over the next few months, and will provide passengers with “fast, free internet connection for anything from email access to web browsing”.
Passengers will be granted one hour of free wifi access per day at the participating stations, with BskyB customers having unlimited access.
Greater Anglia took over the region’s rail franchise from National Express East Anglia on February 5 this year.
National Rail provides a list of the wifi services and charges available on board UK rail services and at relevant stations here.
