De Vere Venues has officially opened a new 202-room property next to the East Midlands Conference Centre (EMCC) in Nottingham, featuring an executive lounge, restaurant and meeting space.
The EMCC – also operated by De Vere – is located within the grounds of the University of Nottingham, and offers 21 meeting and training rooms as well as a tiered auditorium, with the cetre accommodating up to 850 delegates.
The new hotel features 202 rooms, an executive lounge, rooftop terrace, a restaurant, bar, gym and four meeting rooms of its own.
The £20 million property has also been built to include several eco-friendly initiatives, including solar photovoltaic panels, ground-sourced heat technology, and a low energy assisted-cooling ventilation system.
Both the hotel and conference centre offer free wifi throughout.
