Singapore Airlines (SIA) and SilkAir passengers transiting through Singapore’s Changi Airport can now take advantage of the Changi Dollar Voucher promotion that has recently been restarted for a second time.
With the promotion, SIA and SilkAir passengers flying into Changi from certain destinations (see below), on tickets issued after October 1, can get a Changi Dollar Voucher when they arrive. This voucher has a value of S$20 (US$16.35) that can be spent at retail, food and service outlets in the airport terminals. Alternatively, it can be redeemed for three hours in the Ambassador Transit lounges. Located in terminals 2 and 3, these have snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, free wifi and newspapers and magazines.
The vouchers are available to passengers flying into the airport anytime before April 1, 2014 on flights from: Bangladesh, Brazil, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the US and Vietnam.
To collect the voucher, eligible passengers should show their electronic tickets and boarding passes to the Changi Airport Information Counters in the transit areas of terminals 2 and 3. Singapore Airlines said the promotion was run on a "while stocks last" basis.
