Frasers Hospitality has opened a hotel residence in Singapore, debuting its new Capri by Fraser concept.
The concept is tailored to the growing niche of travellers staying for shorter periods but still at frequent intervals. It provides accommodation suited to travellers with 24-hour and high-tech lifestyles (to read more about Capri by Fraser click here).
The Capri by Fraser Changi City has 313 rooms which include 182 superior rooms of 32 sqm, nine deluxe rooms of 36 sqm, 113 premier rooms of 44 sqm and nine grand rooms from 52 to 70 sqm.
The rooms have large workspaces and special ergonomic chairs designed by Herman Miller, ideal for business travellers.
All of the rooms have "kitchen walls" with a cooktop and hood, microwave and grill, fridge, and sink, allowing guests the convenience and flexibility of cooking for themselves and eating at home.
The hotel also has a gym and adjacent outdoor swimming pool which are both open 24 hours a day. There are themed launderettes on every floor, complete with computer game consoles and also open all day and night.
The hotel offers free wireless internet throughout the building and has a wifi printing service that guests can access wherever they are. The hotspot provides multi-cable charging stations to power up different digital devices and iMac computers.
Capri by Fraser Changi City is located within the Changi Business Park, the second-largest international business park in Singapore. The park is home to a large number of technology and multinational companies.
The hotel is located within walking distance of the Singapore Expo. Changi Airport can also be reached within 15 minutes by car and is a short journey by metro.
