Regent Hotels launches free wifi

24 Jul 2012 by BusinessTraveller

Regent Hotels now offers all guests free wifi at its properties in Beijing, Taipei, Berlin, Zagreb and Turks and Caicos.

Commenting on the move Ralf Ohletz, president of Regent Hotels and Resorts, said that “We don’t want our guests to worry about the little things when they stay at our hotels”.

The group will offer free wifi at its existing and forthcoming hotels, with developments under way in Bali, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Porto Montenegro, Doha and Abu Dhabi.

In 2010 the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group (then marketed under two separate groups) sold the Regent Hotels brand to the Formosa International Hotels Corporation – see online news April 16, 2010.
