Singapore Airlines (SIA) has confirmed that it will be adding a fourth daily service between Singapore and Perth starting late October, in addition to its three existing daily flights, ahead of the originally planned early-December launch date.
All flights on the route will be operated by the B777-200. The added daily flight takes off from Changi Airport at 0755 to touch down in Perth International Airport at 1310, while the return leg departs at 1730 for 2245 arrival.
An SIA spokesperson said the increased service was in line with efforts to meet market demand. Though statistics for individual routes are not available, the carrier's flights to and from the Southwest Pacific region serve a range of customers, including business travellers, leisure travellers and students, the spokesperson added.
