Swire Hotels is to open its second East property this September. East Beijing will join the existing East Hong Kong, along with sister properties The Opposite House and The Upper House in China, and the Chapter Hotels brand in the UK.
Facilities will include 369 rooms with free wifi throughout the hotel, and Upstairs, an executive section and lounge on the 24th and 25th floors, meeting and events space The Workshop on the 3rd floor, and bar / music venue Xian.
Leisure facilities at the interestingly-named Beast (Body by East) include a gym, indoor swimming pool and outdoor splash pool, while Feast (Food by East) is an all-day dining international restaurant, and Hagaki serves Californian-inspired Japanese dishes.
The hotel is located within the Indigo mixed-use development in the Chaoyang district of Beijing, around 15 minutes the city’s Beijing International Capital airport.
