Golden Circle (GC), the Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts group’s loyalty programme, is offering members double points for stays and even spa treatments or meals at any of its properties between now and September 30.
For all qualifying stays at a Shangri-La property, defined as ones booked directly with the hotel instead of through a third party, members will earn two GC points per US$1 spent instead of the usual one GC point.
In addition to double points, members will earn double qualifying nights and move up the tiers faster. Jade status requires 20 qualifying nights while Diamond is awarded upon 50 qualifying nights.
Non-staying members can also take advantages of this promotion when dining at any of the Shangri-La group’s food and beverage outlets or patronising its signature Chi spas.
Members can also choose to earn airline miles instead of GC points with their stays, but they will still earn the double nights while this promotion lasts.
New members who enrol in the programme on or before September 30 will earn 500 bonus points after the first qualifying stay, which will be credited to the account between four to six weeks after the promotion ends.
