United to deploy B747 on Hong Kong-Singapore route

United Airlines will deploy a Boeing B747-400 aircraft on the daily Hong Kong-Singapore route from October 27 onwards in order to increase capacity on the popular route.

The four-class B747 will be replacing the much smaller, two-class B737-800 aircraft, offering passengers 12 seats in first class, 52 in business class and 70 in premium economy and 240 in economy.

The flight on this route departs Hong Kong everyday at 2105, arriving in Singapore at 0035, and the return leg departs the Lion City at 0630, touching down in Hong Kong at 1010.
