Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has acquired the Holiday Inn Brisbane, which will be rebranded to a Traders Hotel on August 7.
Located above the Brisbane Transit Centre, this 191-room hotel will not only be the group’s first property in Brisbane, but also the first Traders-branded property in Australia. It will, however, be the group’s third property overall in Australia as they do have a Shangri-La property in Sydney and Cairns.
After the rebrand, the hotel will consist of one food and beverage outlet – MJ’s Restaurant and Bar – as well as a rooftop gym and a total of 700 sqm of meeting space.
