Jetblue signs partnership with Air China

14 Jun 2012 by ahmarshah
New York-based JetBlue has announced a partnership with Air China starting off with smooth interline connections followed by a codeshare deal. Air China passengers will be able to connect onwards across JetBlue’s domestic network spanning North America from New York and Los Angeles – JetBlue hubs to which Air China flies once and twice daily respectively. China-bound passengers can also connect onwards across Air China’s domestic network from Beijing. Eventually, the codeshare deal will allow Air China to place its “CA” code on JetBlue operated flights. This agreement follows in the footsteps of similar deals between JetBlue and Japan Airlines (see story here), Singapore Airlines (see story here) and Jet Airways (see story here), reflecting the American carrier’s commitment to Asian travellers.
