Singapore Airlines launches competition

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has launched an online competition with attractive prizes up for grabs, such as roundtrip business class tickets to the winner’s chosen destination within the carrier’s network.

On SIAJourneys, a website dedicated to charting the carrier’s growth that was launched in February to coincide with the retirement of the carrier’s B747 aircraft (see story here), SIA will roll out a series of games, quizzes and activities in three phases between now and October 23. Prizes will correspond with each activity phase and to win players have to accumulate the most points by the end of each stage.

Users will also get bonus points when purchasing SIA tickets between now and October 23 for travel up to December 31. To participate, users simply have to create profiles – or as the game calls it “passports” – on the mobile-compatible SIAJourneys website, where they can also monitor their progress.

Other prizes include roundtrip economy tickets to any SIA destination, 50,000 KrisFlyer miles and KrisShop vouchers worth up to S$200 (US$156).
