Indian low-cost carrier, SpiceJet, will launch daily flights to Dubai from Mumbai and Delhi on June 25. Dubai will be the growing carrier’s third international destination after Kathmandu and Colombo.
Flights from Delhi will depart at 1155, arriving in Dubai at 1345, and the return leg will depart at 2310, arriving back in the Indian capital at 0405 the following day.
From Mumbai, the flight will depart at 2030, touching down in Dubai at 2155, and the return leg will depart at 1445, arriving back in Mumbai at 1915.
SpiceJet will be the second low-cost Indian carrier to fly into Dubai, following in the footsteps of IndiGo, which launched flights to the city in September last year (see story here). These two carriers join legacy carriers that already serve this highly competitive route, including Jet Airways and Emirates, reflecting the constant demand for travel between Dubai and India.
