Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel Shanghai launches wifi in limos

22 May 2012

Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel Shanghai has just rolled out wifi internet access on their fleet of limousines.

The service allows guests to use their own wifi-enabled gadgets while on the move, or they can make use of the iPads the hotel provides.  The choice of vehicles includes Audi and BMW 5 series cars, all of which are now equipped with the technology. Airport transfer in an Audi costs RMB650 (US$103) one way while the BMW costs RMB750 (US$119).

Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel has joined a host of properties in the city in offering free wifi on limousines, including The Portman Ritz-Carlton, The Peninsula and Kerry Hotel Pudong. It also reflects a global trend – in February, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok did the same with its Mercedes Benz S-Class fleet. For a list of other hotels that offer wifi-equipped limos, click here.
