The Mandarin Oriental San Francisco has unveiled a new look, coinciding with the property’s 25th anniversary, following an extensive refurbishment that redesigned the lobby and guest rooms.
Reworked by interior designer Michael Booth, the lobby now comprises of elegant Italian marble to accentuate the property’s luxurious feel.
All 158 rooms now feature contemporary French art deco-styled furniture in a subtle blue and silver colour scheme and set against the sweeping city views.
The hotel will also launch a brand new all-day dining restaurant located at the lobby level, Brasserie S&P, which will open later this month to replace the previous restaurant, Silks. Brasserie S&P will serve San Francisco cuisine that incorporates fresh seasonal Californian ingredients.
