Marriott International has launched two Renaissance properties in the second-tier Chinese cities Huizhou and Guiyang.
The 340-room Renaissance in Guiyang is located in the Jinyang New District, about 15 minutes away from the city centre, the Guiyang International Conference and Exhibition Centre and the International Finance Centre.
The hotel consists of six F&B outlets, including a rooftop bar, nearly 1,230 sqm of meeting space, a business centre, an indoor pool and a gym.
The 342-room hotel in Huizhou, now the city's tallest building, is located in the heart of Jiang Bei Central Business District close to the International Convention Centre and a luxury shopping mall.
This property includes four F&B outlets, all of which are located on the 28th and 29th floors, 2,280 sqm of meeting space, an indoor pool, gym and spa and views of the river.
All the rooms at both properties are equipped with wifi and wired internet access, iPod docking stations and standard basic amenities.
Both Guiyang and Huizhou are up-and-coming business hubs. Guiyang is a major aluminium producer and also has a large chemical industry while Huizhou, located in Guangdong, is a booming export and trade hub as is the case for many cities in the Pearl River Delta area, which now has six airports.
