China Airlines to move to JFK Terminal 4

27 Apr 2012

From April 30, China Airlines’ New York operations will shift from Terminal 1 to the Terminal 4 at JFK International Airport.

China Airlines (CAL) said they decided to move since Terminal 1 is highly congested, and "near full capacity.” Terminal 4, on the other hand, is more spacious and is undergoing expansion that will make it bigger and more efficient.

As a SkyTeam member, CAL's passengers will benefit from faster transfers with other SkyTeam member airlines based in the same terminal, such as Delta and KLM. Premium passengers can also enjoy priority lines at security and access to the KLM Oasis Lounge.

CAL check-in counters will be located at the second island counter on the second floor of the departures hall. The basement of the terminal consists of a shopping mall and a food court, while the entire terminal is equipped with wifi internet access.
