Five hotel restaurants studded with three Michelin stars

25 Apr 2012

Dining in a two-Michelin-starred restaurant is already a treat. But, three stars? Now, that's something to really look forward to. Only the crème de la crème of the culinary world is awarded that top-notch honour, making them not only great for foodies but also excellent places to impress clients. While the majority of these restaurants are stand-alone, there are a few are located on hotel premises. Here are five found in that particular environment:

Alain Ducasse

The French chef, renowned around the world, earned his first Michelin honour of two stars back in 1984 and just three years later, in 1987, earned his first three-star recognition. This particular Alain Ducasse outlet, with large French windows overlooking the park, serves interpretations of Alain Ducasse’s cuisine under executive chef Jocelyn Herland, including delicacies such as lobster, foie gras and veal. The “cookpot” symbol on the à la carte menu signals the master's new signature dishes.

Price: À la carte (four courses) £100 (US$161)

Tasting menu (seven courses) £120 (US$193)
