Dutch “budget luxury” hotel brand Citizen M has announced its third London property, located on Holborn Viaduct close to St Paul’s.
The new property is currently expected to be ready to welcome guests from the summer of 2013.
As yet no more details about the new hotel have been released, except that guests can expect the same compact designs and hi-tech facilities that Citizen M is known for.
The brand launched in Amsterdam in 2008, and the chain opened its first UK hotel in Glasgow back in 2010.
Its first London property, which will be located on Lavington Street in Bankside, is on track to open on July 5, in time for the start of the Olympic Games.
A second London hotel, in Tower Hill, is also expected to open sometime next year, and properties are also under development in New York and Paris.
