Scoot, Singapore Airlines’ new low-cost subsidiary, has crowned Bangkok as its fourth destination after Sydney, Gold Coast and Tianjin (see story here).
The carrier, poised to officially begin scheduled operations on June 4 (see story here) to Sydney, will fly to the Thai capital daily from July 5 onwards using a Boeing B777-300ER.
Scoot will depart Singapore at 1725, arriving in Bangkok at 1845, while the return leg will depart at 2000, arriving back in Singapore at 2315.
The carrier has also revealed that it will begin Tianjin flights on August 23, operated on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flight will depart at 0130 to arrive in Tianjin at 0730, and the return leg will depart at 0900, arriving back in Singapore at 1500.
