Virgin Australia has announced a new design for the interiors of its fleet of Boeing B777-300ERs, the first of which is now in service with the new look. The aircraft will appear on flights to Los Angeles and Abu Dhabi.
The new look will feature newly designed fabric covers for seats in business, premium economy and economy class, as well as extra padding for the seats.
The interiors will also sport a new colour scheme, new carpets and curtain dividers while the ceiling will feature the same leaf-shaped motif found in the Virgin Australia lounges. The redesign brings the carrier’s B777 fleet on a par with the refreshed looks of the refreshed domestic aircraft (see story here).
Virgin Australia has a fleet of five B777 aircraft, which will progressively be refitted with the new look over the course of this year.
