Sino Group of Hotels to unveil loyalty programme

12 Apr 2012

The Sino Group of Hotels (SGH) has announced it will launch its own loyalty programme – iPrestige Rewards Programme – on May 1 for its individial guests.

The programme will consist of three membership tiers: Crystal, Amber and Emerald, with Crystal being the start-up tier and Emerald the highest.

Benefits include complimentary internet access, late check-out and early check-in as well as complimentary room upgrades for Emerald members.

Joining as a Crystal member is completely free and instead of the conventional point-based system, moving up a tier depends on the total amount spent in a year when staying at any of the group’s properties. Consumption at the hotel's food and beverage outlets is also counted if it is charged to the room. The qualifier for moving up to Amber is US$1,300 and to climb from Amber to Emerald, the qualifier is US$4,000 of annual spending. To retain the Emerald status, guests must spend a minimum of US$5,300 yearly.

This new loyalty scheme is in addition to two others that SGH already has: the Savour programme, which offers discounts for members at its food and beverage outlets, and the Stars programme for corporate clients.

The iPrestige will apply to SGH’s six properties in Singapore and Hong Kong, including The Fullerton Hotel and The Fullerton Bay Hotel in Singapore.
