BA revamps Club Kitchen offering

10 Apr 2012 by Mark Caswell
BA has revamped its Club Kitchen offering for premium passengers travelling on long-haul flights from Heathrow. The new selection includes products from Waitrose and “other great British brands” including Devon-based artisan bakery Teonis, Beckleberry’s patisserie in North East England, and London-based The Ice Cream Union. Passengers will be able to choose from a new snack range including fruit and nut mix from Waitrose, Duchy Originals Organic Yoghurts, Salty Dog and Darling Spuds crisps, Nakd snack bars, Teoni’s shortbread, Beckleberry’s pastries, and bags of retro sweets (including jelly beans, liquorice and dolly mixtures). There will also be a choice of mini sandwich duos, and ice creams from the Ice Cream Union. The new range is part of BA’s revamp of its onboard catering, with the recent introduction of new tuck boxes for World Traveller passengers and a choice of Club World meals for World Traveller Plus customers (see online news September 20, 2011).
