French hotel group Accor has rebranded two properties in Thailand under its upscale Pullman brand.
The 470-room Pullman Bangkok Hotel G, formerly Sofitel Bangkok Silom, is undergoing refurbishment with its guest rooms (pictured), meeting rooms and public area. One of the most major changes was turning the restaurants on the 38th floor into a new ballroom that offers panoramic views of Bangkok’s skyline.
New food and beverage outlets include 25 Degrees, a burger joint concept brought in from Los Angeles; Playground, an interactive mixology and bubbles bar; and signature restaurant Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant, located on the 37th floor with an open-air terrace and famous for tapas, cold cuts and cheeses.
The transformation is scheduled to complete in mid-April this year.
In Pattaya, Pullman Pattaya Aisawan has become Pullman Pattaya Hotel G and is being revamped. The property’s Beach Club and Beach Bar, popular for its beach parties, will be upgraded. A new recreation area with a larger fitness centre featuring brand new equipment will also be added.
The two properties are owned by GCP Hospitality, which operates Hotel G Beijing in the Chinese capital.
