China Southern Airlines installs SkyPriority at Beijing

29 Mar 2012

China Southern Airlines has announced it has completed the rollout of the SkyTeam SkyPriority programme at Guangzhou (see story here) and Beijing airports.

The carrier also expects to complete installing the programme at Urumqi and Chongqing airports by April 9, followed by “all the airports of China Southern Airlines in China in July.”

As reported earlier (see story here), the SkyPriority programme enables SkyTeam Elite Plus members and first and business class passengers on any of the 15 member carriers a special, standardised set of privileges including priority check-in, baggage drop, boarding and baggage handling, as well as fast tracks for immigration and security wherever possible.

The programme will eventually be available at 800 hubs around the world.
