Spanish strike leads to flight disruption

Today's general strike in Spain has forced several carriers to cancel flights from the UK.

Ryanair has cancelled services including East Midlands, Liverpool, Stansted and Manchester to Ibiza, Liverpool to Barcelona, Luton to Reus, and Liverpool to Palma. For a full list of Ryanair flights cancelled today (March 29), click here.

Easyjet has cancelled flights between Stansted and Malaga, Gatwick and Madrid, and Gatwick and Barcelona. For a full list of cancelled Easyjet flights, click here.

BA's website (updated at 115 on March 27) says that "Currently our flights are operating normally but please check the status of your flight before leaving for the airport". The carrier is also offering passengers the opportunity to change tickets for flights due to operate on March 29, for alternative travel between March 26-28, or April 3-6.
