Hyatt Hotels has announced it will open its first Park Hyatt property in Bangkok by 2014.
The Park Hyatt Bangkok will be part of Central Embassy, a new mixed-use building located on the site of the former British Embassy on the intersection of Ploenchit and Wireless roads. The hotel will be housed within an impressive 37-floor twisted coil-shaped structure, which will consist of high-end retail outlets and entertainment spots.
The 222-room hotel itself will feature speciality restaurants, a sky bar, a spa, gym, swimming pool and almost 1,441sqm of meeting space.
The Park Hyatt Bangkok is Thailand’s third Hyatt branded property, after the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok and the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin.
This property is just one of 18 Park Hyatt projects under development around the world, of which 10 are located in Asia-Pacific. The group is poised to open a Park Hyatt in Changbaishan, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Sanya (all in China), and in Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata and Mumbai (all in India) over the next few years.
