Regus announces partnerships with Shell and SNCF

17 Jan 2012 by BusinessTraveller

Workspace provider Regus has announced new agreements to provide drop-in workstations at European Shell petrol stations and railway stations operated by French national rail company SNCF.

A trial with Shell has seen a business lounge launched at the Limours-Janvry service station on the A10 autoroute south west of Paris. Regus said the joint initiative “could see Regus business lounges open at Shell petrol forecourts on motorways across Europe”.

Also in France the group has partnered with SNCF to launch six drop-in business centres at selected railway stations.

Celia Donne, Regional Director at Regus, said that “The rapid rise of the mobile worker gives us an excellent opportunity to extend our core offering beyond offices”, adding that “the increase in demand for drop-in business centres has come from mobile workers who still need a place to touch down, and a business centre at a motorway service station or railway station platform makes sense.”
