New low-cost offshoot by Singapore Airlines, Scoot, has unveiled its cabin crew’s uniform, designed by Singapore-based fashion label ESTA. It sports a yellow and black theme, embodying the airline's funky personality, or what it calls its “scootitude”.
Pictures of cabin crew members modelling the uniform have been posted on the airline's Facebook page (see here) and drawn mix response from fans. Some have commented that the male uniform looks too casual, while others suggested the shirt should be tucked-in to portray a more formal look. The stewardesses' one-piece, however, garnered more praise.
Sydney will be the launch destination of the carrier when it takes off in the middle of this year (see story here).
