Boeing 787 to embark on world tour

24 Nov 2011 by BusinessTraveller

Boeing’s Dreamliner aircraft is to begin a six-month world tour next month, with December’s schedule taking in China, Qatar, Ethiopia and Kenya.

The Dream Tour will include six stops in Beijing, Guangzhou, Haikou, Addis Ababa, Nairobi and Doha next month, and will be followed up with additional tour stops between January and April next year, with specific cities and dates being announced around one month prior to the events.

The tour will be carried out by Dreamliner aircraft ZA003, fitted with “special interior features designed to highlight the unique cabin features and performance capabilities of the Dreamliner”. The aircraft was the third B787 to be built, and has also benefitted from a “refreshed Boeing livery”.

More details on the tour can be found at newairplane.com, including videos, photos and reports from each event.
