The Ascott's Somerset Victoria Park Hongkong is poised to open in 2013, while the Ascott M-City Foshan will make its debut in 2016.
The 71-unit Hong Kong property will offer a range of studios as well as one- and two-bedroom apartments. Residents will be able to enjoy a wide range of dining and entertainment options in nearby retail complexes including Times Square, Sogo and Windsor House. The property will be located in the bustling district of Causeway Bay, in close proximity to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. It is also near Victoria Park, the city's largest urban green space.
While the Somerset Victoria Park Hongkong will be the Ascott’s second serviced apartment in Hong Kong, it will be the Somerset brand’s debut in the Special Administrative Region. Currently, the group operates its serviced apartments, Citadines Ashley Hongkong, in the territory's Tsim Sha Tsui district.
Nestled in Dongping New Town, Foshan’s newly developed central business district, the 186-unit Ascott M-City Foshan will be situated next to the train and metro station. Upon completion, the property will have serviced apartments ranging from studios to three-bedroom units. Residents will be able to enjoy facilities including a yoga room, reading room, business centre, conference room, and breakfast lounge.

We entered Macau earlier this year and the addition of Foshan will enable us to further grow our scale in the Pearl River Delta region. In addition to its upcoming projects in Hong Kong and Foshan, the Ascott IFC Guangzhou is also slated to open in 2012. Ascott aims to double its China portfolio to 12,000 apartment units by 2015.
