Japan Airlines (JAL) is offering special airfares for its new direct flight between Tokyo Narita and Boston, which will be operated by the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft from April 22 next year.
The flight will start off as a four-weekly service, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays until May 31, before becoming a daily service from June 1 (click here for flight details).
Fares start at JPY115,000 (US$1,493) for a round-trip economy class ticket and from JPY500,000 (US$6,493) for business class tickets. The special fares are only applicable to tickets booked online.
The sale runs between now and January 31, 2012, for travel between April 22 and September 20, 2012.
JAL is expected to receive its first Dreamliner either by the end of this year or at the start of January next year, but concrete dates have not yet been released.
